KARACHI – Saudi Arabia’s acting Ambassador to Pakistan Marwan Ridwan Mirdad has asserted that delay in issuance of visas was due to the shortage of visa stickers: Saudi Ambassador.
He made this announcement while talking to media persons in Karachi on Tuesday in the wake of visa problems being faced by the Pakistani Umrah pilgrims.
Mirdad said with the increase of twenty percent quota around one hundred and eighty thousand Pakistanis will perform Hajj this year.
The Acting Ambassador said that the delay in the issuance of visas was due to a shortage of visa stickers and the problem will be resolved in next three days.
He said over six hundred thousand visas have so far been issued from Islamabad and five hundred thousand from Karachi to the Umrah pilgrims.
