LAHORE – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated a digital system at Punjab police stations, saying the police force will become more effective in tackling crimes.
According to detail, the Prime Minister of Pakistan was addressing ceremony in Punjab where he launched the project for digitalization of police force in Punjab in order to promote efficiency and effectiveness.
According to detail, earlier attempts have also been made to transform police stations in Punjab on a new line of digitalization.
In the first place, this system will introduce bio-metric system in the police stations for attendance of the policemen.
Then, the system may perhaps keep records of all the servants including their conduct, departmental proceedings, confidential records, rewards and performance.
Furthermore, the digital system in the police station is going to help in assessing the crime data in different districts and the concerned officials will be dealt by the authorities accordingly.
