SRINAGAR – India on Monday banned the TV channels broadcasting from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in Indian-held Kashmir to shut the communication of people from the Muslim world.
The leadership of Azad Jammu and Kashmir seriously condemn this sort of decision by India to suppress the recent wave of war.
Many channels of Saudi Arab and Pakistan have gone off the air in several parts of Indian-held Kashmir on Sunday, one day after the Indian government ordered to remove them.
The speaker of Azad Jammu Kashmir titled it as a face of so-called Indian democracy.
“The ban on Pakistani news channels in the IoK shows how Indian military establishment wants to treat the people of Kashmir in the era of information technology,” said the speaker, as quoted by Tribune.
