LAHORE – Pakistan Railways has on Wednesday announced that it will lower the travel fair for the passengers in the holy month of Ramadan 2017, local media reported.The discount will be available for 20 days, from 1st Ramadan to 20th Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.
Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, while announcing the reduction, said that revenue has been enhanced to minimize railways deficit.
He said that an increase of twenty billion has been made in pay and pension of railways employees.
Last week, the government of Punjab announced establishing Madni Dastarkhwans to provide free Sehri and Iftari facility to the poor people.
This was stated by Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Nawaz while chairing a meeting in Sargodha district today.
Madni Dastarkhwans are being set up in the direction of the Chief Minister Punjab.
