BHURBAN – The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Tuesday has sealed the kitchen of a five-star restaurant in Bhurban due to its unhygienic methods for preparing food.
Officials told that the operation was carried out during the routine inspection visit by Director Operations North Bilawal Abro. The entire region has only one hotel which is now reportedly supplying unhygienic food.
Ice cream at the kitchen, which provided food to an indoor café of the hotel, was not in a good condition, many of the products were probably expired and cockroaches were also found in the kitchen.
The committee also fined of Rs.100, 000 and sealed the kitchen, authorities told that the Kitchen will be sealed for the upcoming seven days.
The similar case had reported with the kitchen of this hotel and was sealed by the authorities.
The problem of unhygienic food is a matter of concern all around the country, the reports of improper meat, water and vegetables reported from the entire country.
Authorities are very much keen in taking action against the culprits.
