ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has presented a summary on Sunday to lower the prices of high-speed diesel by Rs 3.20 per liter.
The regulatory authority has proposed to reduce the petrol prices by Rs. 2.30 per liter.
On the other hand, Ogra recommended increasing the price of Kerosene oil and light diesel by Rs 13.60 and Rs 9.50 per liter.
The report has been submitted to Finance Ministry which will decide the on the new prices after consulting Prime Minister.
After the approval by Nawaz Sharif, Ministry of Finance will announce the new prices of Petroleum products, which would be implemented from June 1.
The prices of petroleum products are very high due to Ramadan, despite oil, other households are also out of reach from the poor people in the holy month.
however, the government has taken serious steps to minimize the prices of households.
