SINDH –A senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Maula Bakhsh Chandio says Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had no knowledge of Sindh for four years on Friday.
After giving assurances to the protesting doctors in Sindh the PPP leader addressed a press conference, saying the federal government did not pay attention any attention to the problems being faced by Sindh.
“It was good that he came to Thatha and I will say that he should come again and again,” he said laughingly.
However, he pointed out that the Prime Minister should bring also bring wealth to the province rather than making mere announcements in Sindh, he commented.
People have understood the tactics of Nawaz Sharif as he has kept all the wealth for Lahore city and his relatives, he criticized.
While answering to a question about the political consensus on the extending the tenure of military court, he said laws are made around the world to eradicate terrorism and there is a proper mechanism, adding an effort has also been made to preserve the rule of law and justice system.
“Our stance is not the opposition of the military courts but we think that there should be no violation of human rights,” the PPP leader informed.
He said, “If you will go for military courts persistently then our normal judiciary system will be destroyed.”
The whole nation rose up their voices for the government move to eliminate terror and militancy from the country the country after the gruesome attack on the innocent children in Army Public School (APS) Peshawar, he reiterated.
But in the meantime he said, “The norms of justice and constitution supremacy should not be violated and muzzled at any cost.”
