ISLAMABAD – Ishaq Dar held a fiery media talk outside Federal Judicial Academy after his appearance before JIT in which he described his ‘love-hate relationship’ with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
He passed fierce criticism towards the leader of the largest opposition party by claiming that Imran Khan had gambled with the Zakat money gathered from his charitable organization, Dunya News reported.
“He (Imran Khan) should be ashamed of himself for basing his politics on lies,” he stated.
While criticising the Panama Leaks case deemed at accountability of the Sharif family, he said that such petitions never exist in any part of the world.
He claimed, “Not a single penny of corruption can be proved in the four-year era of PML-N”. Ishaq Dar stated that the law should be equal for all people, adding that their opponents with offshore accounts were being ignored in the accountability process.
He challenged the political opponents to prove even one corruption scandal on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif or himself.
