ISLAMABAD – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has on Wednesday issued a stern warning to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Khans said in his warning that the government would be in trouble if he issued the call to his workers to take to the streets.
Speaking to media personnel, Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif was being tried in a criminal investigation. He said that Nawaz was a criminal who was guilty of money laundering.
"Nawaz Sharif, the entire nation is convinced that you are a criminal,” he said. "The entire nation is waiting for my call to take to the streets,” he added.
Imran said that it was apparent from Nawaz Sharif’s talk in London that the verdict of the Panama Leaks case was going against him. The cricketer-turned-politician said that the names of the premier’s children had been dragged into the scandal because of Nawaz Sharif.
He further said that the entire nation was following the Panama Leaks case. Imran said that Nawaz Sharif was supposed to provide the answers to 13 questions which he had failed to do.
"I would like to congratulate the nation before the verdict of the JIT is announced,” he said.
