ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Met Department forecast on Thursday that there is a fair chance of new Eid moon on the evening of June 25, on 29th of Ramadan, 1438 AH.
“There is a fair chance of a sighting of new Shawwal moon, 1438 AH on June 25th,” Met stated.
The new moon of Shawwal, 1438 AH will be born on crossing conjunction point at 07-31 PST on 24-06-2017.
The crescent would be visible on the evening on June 25, a statement of Met office said.
According to climate record, the weather is expected fair/partly cloudy in most parts of the country.
It should be noticed that every year Eid celebrated according to the appearance of the moon and every year the difference of days between English and Islamic calendar observed as eleven days.
The celebration of Eid is a matter of dispute from a long time in Pakistan, every year Pakistanis celebrate Eid for two times in the same year.
From the last few years, the government is giving serious concern over this matter and trying to figure out the real causes behind it.
