ISLAMABAD – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has noticed six new controversial pages on internet and presented the investigation report in the blasphemous case.

According to detail, director FIA, Mazharul Haq KakaKhel to Islamabad High Court (IHC) that they have found out some three pages on internet having blasphemous contents.

The IHC was hearing a case about blasphemous material on the internet which had earlier order FIA to probe into the hateful and illegal contents on the internet while on Monday the director FIA presented his investigation report.

KakaKhel told the court six more controversial pages have been found out besides the earlier three pages.

Director FIA says that the matter is yet in the inquiry phase and FIR has not been filed, adding they are considering preceding a case of hateful materials which is a crime according to the law.

He told the court that they will go to the international court after preparing the case with regards to international law.

Justice Shaukat Sadiqui of IHC said while giving remarks in the case that no one will be allowed to sell respect along with selling news.

Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui said while issuing directives to Director General Information Ministry that clarification of article 16 should be broadcast on the electronic media and published in the print media so that the public could have the knowledge about it.

He said that everyone should be informed that what is the freedom expression and how it is subjected to limitations and its punishment.

Earlier, the FIA team was carrying out investigation in the case of blasphemous material on the internet while due to the sensitivity of the matter the case is taking forwarding with caution.
