LONDON – A huge quantity of heroin was reportedly recovered from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-785, the British National Crime Agency (NCA) confirmed on Tuesday.
The British department had confiscated the passport of PIA’s flight PK-785 crew members after the recovery of narcotics by the border security personals.
Although no one from the crew members was arrested by the state department, further investigation is under way.
The event has been confirmed by the spokesperson of PIA Mashood Tajwar which arrived at 2:50 at London, after the event. He said that 14 crew members have released by the department after the detention of merely two hours.
The PIA official claimed that no ‘illegal material’ has found from the plane during the investigation, we are planning to take up the case with the authorities concerned, he added.
In another case, the drug was found from the same Boeing-777 plane during the repair work.
