Bakhtawar Bhutto rejects Ramadan Respect Act

KARACHI – Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari has rejected the Ramadan Respect Law which orders the closer of shops during the fast.

According to the reports, the daughter of Benazir Bhutto said that because the weather is too hot and people are vulnerable towards hydration which can kill them, this type of law is ridiculous.

She further said that Islam denies any forced work; to force people to do something is not a method of Islam.

Although the senate of Sindh has approved the law which will prohibit eating and drinking publicly, while this sort of Laws had been proposed several times by the local government.

Law revealed that the accused of eating and drinking openly will be fine of Rs. 25,000 and jailed too.

At least 1,500 people killed in the Heat stroke during the year 2012, incident highlighted the mismanagement of local government.
