LAHORE – The federal government should allocate quota for disabled people in the Central Superior Services (CSS), ordered Lahore High Court (LHC).
LHC has ordered on Friday the federal government to allocate quota for special persons in the federal services.
While hearing a case about provincial quota in the Central Superior Services (CSS), LHC said discriminatory treatment will not be tolerated with regards to disable people, asking the federal government to adjust the physically challenged people.
The Federal government as per their capability and ability of the handicapped should provide job opportunities to them, the court informed.
The court said physically impaired people should be given chances to live a respectable life.
Before conducting the CSS exam in the upcoming year, the government should bring amendments in the rules and regulations so that they could be adjusted in the federal services.
In this regard, the court has issued orders asking the federal to help the special person in provision of job opportunities in the CSS so that they could live an esteem and respectable life.
